Pinata hat.

We’re still recovering from the festivities on Sunday, when about a dozen or so completely unsocialized homeschoolers and their moms descended upon us, and we celebrated the fact that my 7-year-old is now an 8-year-old.

She’s so damn big now, it’s not even funny.

Details of the party to follow soon.

Well, if that hat is any indication, I’d say y’all had a GREAT time! 😉

I’m soooo hoping that you pull strings from the hat and that people don’t whack at her head with a stick! LOL!!

My youngest will be 8 in January. How time flies.

What a great hat! Looks like you all had a grand time…

Of course, since I hang out with kids, the idea of someone with a pinata on her head is followed with the idea of someone whacking that pinata.

I’m sure that’s not what really happened, though…. right?

    🙂

Ah, yes. Well, actually, this hat was assembled after the pinata had been demolished and emptied of all goodies.

Making her wear it beforehand would be something a little more… um…daring. “Here hon, put this on… Now RUN!!!!!!!!! And happy birthday, babe.”

Yeah, it could be rather ominous with RegularDad holding a rope and all. This might be the image of a traumatic memory for her. Glad to hear it was just RegularFun.

OH a very big happy birthday sweet girl! 8 is still little to me, my youngest is now 9. Sigh
